In February 2011, The Nature Conservancy worked with the people of Boe Boe, a small village on the east coast of Choiseul Island in the Solomon Islands, to help them build their own 3 Model of their environment. By mapping their terrestrial and marine resources, the community has a visual tool to help them achieve sustainability and to plan for the possible impacts of climate change.
